Pair of 19th Century French Neoclassical Weathered Iron Garden Urn Planters
Crafted in the Loire Valley of France circa 1880 in the neoclassical style, the antique planters have a stately, elegant style. Each “Chambord” vase stands on a square base over a circular foot; the planter features a flared rim with egg-dart molding, and dual scrolled foliate handles over a gadrooned body. Both heavy garden urns are in excellent condition and adorn the original weathered patinated finish with evidence of outdoor use; they would make an elegant statement or on either side of a front door, on a patio, or around a swimming pool. Large drainage hole in the center. Weights 34 pounds each! Measures: 21.5″ W x 16″ D x 13″ H.
