Decorate a wall with this elegant pair of antique paintings on board. Created in France circa 1860, and set in the original carved gilt wood frame, each hand painted artwork depict a beach scene on the coast of Brittany and featuring people fishing shrimp and mussels. Both paintings are signed by the artist in the lower left and lower right corners, but the signature is unreadable. The paintings are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with wonderful details and a rich palette of colors throughout embellished with carved gold leaf frames. Hooks in the back for easy installation. Measures: 15.5″ W x 13″ H.
