Pair of 19th Century Louis XV Marble Top Walnut Marquetry Bombe Nightstands
These elegant antique bedside tables were created in France, circa 1890. Bombe on all three sides with marquetry inlay and veneer bands throughout, the fruitwood chests stand on cabriole legs ending with decorative bronze sabot feet over a scalloped apron. Each cabinet is fitted with a top drawer dressed with a brass pull over a single door embellished with marquetry decor and dressed with a matching brass pull. Both sides with serpentine shape have inlaid veneer. The surface is dressed with a variegated shaped white marble top with black veins. The tall Louis XV style bedside tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina. Measures: 20.75″ W x 14.25″ D x 33.75″ H.
