Pair of 19th Century Louis XVI Carved Painted Consoles with Faux Marble Top
These elegant antique console tables were created in France, circa 1880. The long grey painted tables stand on six carved and tapered legs over a carved apron embellished with floral medallions on each corner. Each console has two drawers across the front, a bottom shelf for additional display, and the surface with recessed edge decor, has a faux marble top in the grey and white palette. The tall and narrow console tables are in excellent condition with a rich textured and patinated hand painted finish, the versatile pieces could be place in an entry way, a hallway, or behind a sofa.
