Pair of Early 20th Century French Louis XVI Carved Giltwood Wall Mirrors
Decorate a living room with this elegant pair of antique wall mirrors. Hand carved in France circa 1930 and rectangular in shape, each mirror is decorated with the traditional Louis XVI flower vase at the pediment and flanked with carved pierced foliage on both sides; the frame with geometric motifs is embellished with acanthus leaf decor at the bottom. The large matching neoclassical mirrors are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich patinated gilt finish. Versatile, these mirrors could be placed in an entry on either side of a front door, on both sides of a mantel, or in a master bathroom over hers and his vanity. Measures: 36.75″ W x 59.5″ H.
