These elegant bedside tables were created in France, circa 1920. Bombe in shape on all three sides, each fruitwood cabinets stands on cabriole legs decorated with brass embellishments and ending with bronze sabot feet; the front features a scalloped apron and a medallion marquetry inlay with chevron background featuring a vase with roses, leaves, and an elegant bow. Both sides with serpentine shape also have an inlay veneer chevron pattern embellished by foliage decor, with beautiful floral details. Each side table has two drawers dressed with delicate brass nobs, over a thin wooden tray with embossed brown leather that slides out. The surface is decorated with similar floral marquetry motifs to match the sides. The petites tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina with wonderful details. Measures: 12.5″ W x 10.5″ D x 28.25″ H.
