Incorporate extra light into a living room or bedroom with this elegant pair of colorful lamp bases. Crafted in Italy circa 1960, each lamp stands on an integral square base; the carved body in the neoclassical urn-shape form, and embellished with carved gadroon decor, acanthus leaf and laurel leaf motifs. Each fixture has two lights, off and on pull switches, and dressed with the original custom shade and finial. The classical lamps are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich antique patinated painted finish in the soft green palette embellished with gilt accent. These lamps would make a colorful addition on a pair of side tables or nightstands. Shades included. Measures: 6″ W x 6″ D x 29″ H.
