Decorate a study or entryway with this elegant pair of vintage panels. Hand painted in Italy circa 1960, the paintings are set in a carved gilt frame with arched top; each artwork depicts a nature scene of tall trees towering over a man fishing in a calm river. The hand painted panels are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn rich colors in the grey and green palette. Small visible repair on left panel. Stamped in the back: “Gacaru, Via. B Cavalieri, Milano” for further identification. Measures: 13.5″W x 1″D x 44.5″H.
