Decorate a kitchen wall or fill up a decorative hutch with this elegant set of hand painted, ceramic plates. Crafted in Pornic, France circa 1989, and created for the bi-centennial of the French Revolution, each plate with 1789-1989 dates, features scenes of the revolution period with different mottos written in French, “live fee or die”, “I plan on succeeding”, “I am watching for the Nation”, “I sing for liberty”, “the strongest will prevail”. The faience plates are in excellent condition with rich colors, and would make a unique addition to your porcelain collection. Measures: 9.5″ diameter.
