The versatile, useful cabinet is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina throughout. The Bargueño or Vargueno cabinet prototype originated in Renaissance Spain, and first appeared in the 15th century; this type of cabinet was used to carry valuables such as jewelry and documents.
