18th Century French Marble Top Red Painted Iron Pastry Table with Bronze Mounts
$8,200
About
Rectangular in shape, the antique “Table de Boucher” (butcher table or pastry table) would add the ideal amount of surface space to any kitchen. Crafted in France circa 1780, the pastry table features intricate metal work and beautiful scrolled legs, decorated with bronze round finials and circular medallions, and ending with tapered feet from later addition. The table features a scalloped apron embellished with shell and foliage motifs on all four sides. The work surface is dressed with the original thick white marble top with visible rust spots. The table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original patinated red paint finish. Incorporate this butcher table in a kitchen as a center island, or use it against as a small wall console in an entry or hallway. A true one-of-a-kind! Measures: 39.25″ W x 25.5″ D x 32” H.
