This elegant French walnut piano bench was crafted in the late 19th century in the refined Louis XVI style. The square tapered legs are fluted and capped with acanthus carvings at the knees, tapering into turned feet. Carved rosettes accent the corner blocks, while a delicate stylized frieze runs along the apron, showcasing fine craftsmanship. The seat is upholstered in a richly patinated olive green leather, secured with a border of antiqued brass nailhead trim. The leather’s crackled surface lends visual depth and an aged, authentic character. Rolled arms with spiral ends connect to upright supports featuring matching fluting and floral detailing, completing the neoclassical silhouette.
