Decorate an office or a lodge with this elegant antique oil on canvas painting. Created in England circa 1880, and set in the original carved giltwood frame, the artwork titled “The Meet at The Ship Inn”, depicts a departure to a fox hunt scene with hound’s dogs, a couple of riders in proper attire on their horses, and the Inn in the background; it is further embellished with a servant female offering a toast to the men in the manner of Heywood Hardy. The art work is signed in the lower left corner by British artist, Kenneth Wardle. The important painting, which has been relined, is in excellent condition with rich and vibrant colors, and wonderful details. 25.5″W x 30″H
