This elegant four foot round table was crafted in France circa 1880. Built of walnut, the table stands on four hand turned legs, connected at the base with an X-shape stretcher. The intricate 2″ thick top features a large slate in the center, and decorative inlaid scroll motifs; it is further embellished with a center pine drawer for additional storage. The Louis XIII style table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with wonderful character, and adorns a rich walnut patina. This lovely fruitwood table suitable for four to six people, would make an impressive addition to any breakfast room. Measures: 49″ diameter 29.5″ height.
