Decorate a living room or dining room with this elegant antique mirror. Crafted in Provence, Southern France circa 1860, the tall “Parclose” mirror features a nicely carved rocaille cartouche at the pediment decorated with intricate scroll, foliage and shell motif. Both sides with rounded and crossed frame are embellished with applied carved foliate decor including tree branches,floral and leaf motifs. The large rectangular cushion mirror, dressed with the original mercury glass and wood backing, is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a beautiful gold leaf painted finish. This eye-catching, decorative mirror would make a great addition to a large powder room or entryway with its interesting shape and texture! Measures: 45.25″ W x 73.50″ H.
