Crafted in France circa 1870 and rectangular in shape, the antique wooden and brass coffer is decorated with repousse sailboat scenes on the top and front while both sides are dressed with handles. The top opens to inside storage. The decorative trunk is in excellent condition and has the original rich patinated finish. The versatile box could be used for wood burning near a fireplace, or as storage facility for children toys. Measures: 17″ W x 11″ D x 12″ H.
