Place this elegant antique hall tree in an entry or a mud room to catch coats, hats and umbrellas. Crafted in France circa 1870, the tall Napoleon III free standing halltree sits on a scalloped base decorated with scroll, floral and acanthus leaf motifs over a removable painted iron droplet tray. The ornate coat and hat rack with foliage decor features seven double hooks, and is dressed with a center arched rectangular mirror, over a middle shelf and umbrella rail. The heavy cast iron halltree is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich verdigris painted finish with gilt accents. Measures: 28″ W x 16″ D x 84″ H.
