Crafted in England circa 1880, and set on a circular silver-plated tray raised on ball feet and adorned with a beaded edge, the ensemble features five intricately cut crystal vessels, each secured in silver-mounted rings. The set comprises two faceted bottles for oil and vinegar with stoppers, a matching pair of silver-topped salt and pepper shakers, and a lidded sugar container complete with its coordinating spoon. Each crystal piece is richly decorated with crosshatch and fluted motifs, offering brilliant clarity and sparkle. The centerpiece is a finely cast silver handle crowned with classical motifs including a shell, floral garland, and rope twist detailing. In good condition commensurate with age and use, this complete and functional cruet set makes an elegant addition to a formal dining setting or decorative sideboard display.
