Resembling the notorious captain hook character, this marionette doll would make a fun and unique decor piece, and it could still be used in theatre production. Crafted in Italy circa 1980, the wooden pirate figure features a wood peg leg on his right, a jeweled boot on the left, and a golden sword and hook. The moving sculpture is dressed in a red velvet fabric with gilt accents throughout, sat on his head is tricorne or tricorn hat with a large plume, which completes the pirate look. The puppet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and is full articulated. Measures with strings: 20″W x 9″D x 45″H Measures just puppet: 20″W x 9″D x 27.5″H
