Early 20th Century French Louis XV Carved Walnut with Faux Fur Upholstery
Place this antique stool bench in your den for extra seating. Crafted in Provence, Southern France, circa 1920 and rectangular in shape, the traditional fruit wood seating stands on elegant cabriole legs ending with escargot feet and decorated with floral and leaf motifs at the shoulders. The seating features two bombe sides and two concave sides. The incurvated apron is embellished with hand carved foliate and shell decor on the sides. The seat is upholstered with a faux fur leopard print fabric. The large Provincial bench is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. Measures: 29″W x 22.5″D x 16″H.
