Early 20th Century French Painted Carved Walnut Eight-Light Chandelier
Hand carved in Provence, southern France, circa 1920, the oblong light fixture is decorated with carved floral and leaf motifs throughout, over a double scalloped apron embellished with small finials. The Louis XV style chandelier features four double arms with eight lights which are newly wired, and four chains connected to a carved crown at the top. The fixture is hand painted in the traditional Provencal yellow palette. The colorful chandelier is in excellent condition; place it over a breakfast table or a kitchen island for the ultimate country French look. Measures: 32″W x 26″D x 47″H.
