This elegant late 20th century porcelain umbrella stand, crafted circa 1990, features a classic cylindrical form inspired by traditional Chinese blue and white ceramics. The tall vessel is decorated with finely detailed panels depicting birds perched among flowering branches, framed by scrolling foliate motifs and geometric borders in shades of cobalt blue, soft teal, and muted lavender against a crisp white ground.
