Crafted in France circa 1850, and built of oak, the elegant jewelry box stands on tapered feet over a straight apron, and features elaborate, ornate carvings on the front, sides, and top. It has three carved drawers across the front, with foliage and geometric pattern motifs, and dressed with the original circular brass pulls and matching escutcheons. Both sides are also decorated with heavily scroll carvings and embellished with male head medallions in the center. The Louis XVI style cabinet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patina. Place the piece on a vanity or in a master bathroom as a beautiful storage solution for tiny treasures. Measures: 18.25″ W x 8″ D x 11.5″ H.
