This vintage fishbowl was created in China, circa 1980. Round in shape and standing on a carved fruitwood base, this elegant porcelain planter features hand painted floral and leaf motifs throughout. The ceramic vase is painted on the inside as well with a traditional koi fish illustration motif. The piece separates into a bowl and stand, with the bowl standing at 15 inches high by itself. Overall, this beautiful Asian piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns rich colors black palette with gilt accents. Measures: 19″ diameter, 17″ height (total height including base).
