This elegant antique “Tian” (Provencal term for serving bowl), was crafted in Provence, southern France circa 1960. The round handmade terracotta bowl is dressed with two small handles, a server beak, and has a subtle green glaze on the inside with natural earthenware finish on the outside. Use this small dish as a serving piece or as a centerpiece fruit bow or flower arrangement. The large decorative vessel is in excellent condition with a rich patinated glazed green finish. Engraved stamped “Poterie Not Freres” for further authentication. Measures: 14.25″ diameter 6″ height.
