Pair of 19th Century Dutch Hand Painted Faience Delft Vases with Cattle Motifs
Decorate a shelf or console table with this elegant pair of antique Delft vases with cattle motifs. Crafted in Holland circa 1880, the round vases have a shell form with wider neck. Each vessel is hand painted in the blue and white Delft palette, and each medallion is decorated with pastoral scenes with peasants and cows, further embellished with floral and foliage motifs throughout. The porcelain pieces are in excellent condition, with soft hand painted colors, and are stamped on the bottom “Delft” for further authenticity and provenance. A must for blue and white lovers! Measures: 12.25″ H.
