This handsome pair of antique French stools was crafted circa 1880; built in solid walnut, each stool features turned legs joined by shaped stretchers. The warm walnut surfaces display a rich, time-softened patina consistent with age and use, enhancing the stools’ authentic antique presence. The seats are upholstered in Aubusson tapestry panels displaying painterly floral and foliate motifs in muted tones of blue, green, ochre, and soft rose.
