Place this elegant pair of antique ceramic ginger jars on a mantel or a console in entryway. Crafted in Holland, circa 1960, the traditional blue and white jars are round in shape and have a cone lid embellished with dog figure at the top; each large faience potiche features hand painted floral medallions with Classic Dutch flower and foliage decor. The vessels are stamped on the bottom “Made for Royal Sphinx by Maastricht, Delfts” for further authentication. The tall vases are in excellent condition with rich colors throughout, and would make a colorful addition to a commode or an enfilade in a dining or living room. One jar slightly taller than the other. Measure: 9 ” diameter 17″ height.
