Carved of stone, the tall greyhounds are set on an integral flat base; seated on their back legs, both dogs have a proud expression further embellished with a collar around their neck. The vintage garden sculptures adorn a patinated antique weathered finish with evidence of outdoor use. Both stone canines are in excellent condition and could be used on either side of a front door. Each dog weighs 90 pounds. The Greyhound is a sight hound which has been bred for coursing game and greyhound racing. Since the rise in large scale adoption of retired racing Greyhound, the breed has seen a resurgence in popularity as a family pet; it is also referred to as an English Greyhound. Measures: 15” W x 12” D x 31.5” H.
