Add a cheerful and distinctive presence to an entrance or garden with this matching pair of vintage Shar-Pei dog sculptures. Crafted in southern France circa the late 20th century, each substantial canine is fashioned from stone and rests on an integral flat base.

The dogs are portrayed seated upright on their hind legs, with sturdy front paws, broad muzzles, folded ears, and the deeply wrinkled skin characteristic of the Shar-Pei breed. Carved collars encircle their necks, while their calm expressions give the pair a gentle and welcoming personality. Designed to be viewed from every angle, the sculptures feature detailed folds continuing across the backs, legs, and curled tails.

The naturally weathered surfaces display soft gray tones, areas of mossy green patination, and variations developed through years of outdoor exposure. Each dog weighs approximately 62 pounds, providing the stability needed for placement outdoors. Position them on either side of a front entrance, along a garden path, on a terrace, or near a pool.
