Decorate a breakfast room or game room table with this elegant set of antique chairs. Crafted in southern France circa 1880 and built of solid oak wood, each sturdy chair stands on turned legs ending with round feet and connected with a double bottom stretcher. The rectangular back and comfortable seat are both upholstered with the original thick patinated tan leather and dressed with decorative brass nailheads throughout. All six Louis XIII style chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with lots of character, and adorn a rich walnut patina. A wonderful set to use around a wine tasting table in a cellar! Some natural aged crackling on the leather. Measures: 17.75″ W x 18″ D x 34″ H.
