Set of Six Early 20th Century French Iron Three-Light Sconces with Gilt Accents
$3,400
About
Illuminate your space with this elegant set of six antique wall sconces from France, circa 1920. Each large forged iron fixture features a sinuous, scrolled frame centered with a stylized acanthus leaf motif, richly decorated with gilt accents and finished with a hand-painted patina in tones of black and reddish-brown. The three gracefully curved arms extend outward, each ending in a scalloped bobeche with decorative candle covers and faux wax-drip detailing. The lower section showcases carved and gilded foliate and lattice motifs, completing the refined composition. The fixtures are newly wired to U.S. standards and ready for installation. These early 20th-century sconces are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, displaying a warm and aged finish that enhances their Old-World charm. Perfect for framing a mirror, flanking a doorway, or adding grandeur to a dining room or entryway. Each sconce measures: 14″ W x 7.5″ D x 22″ H.
