Dress a mantel with this elegant antique Louis Philippe style mirror. Crafted in the Burgundy region of France, circa 1860, and over four and a half feet in height, the large arched wall mirror has traditional, timeless lines with rounded corners and a straight base bottom. The thick frame is further embellished with bead trim motif around the frame. The Classic French wall piece is dressed with its original mercury glass and wood backing. The Louis Philippe mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich and luxurious patinated gold leaf finish. Versatile, this tall mirror could also be placed over a console in a hallway, over a chest in an entryway, or in a powder room. New wire has been installed on the back for easy handling and installation. A few dark spots on the glass. Weight 73 pounds.
