About
This colorful barbotine jardinière from L’Hermine a Orchies, France, was sculpted circa 1880. Almost square in shape, the antique porcelain cache pot features exquisitely rendered hunting motifs on all four sides, including deer, goose, wild boar, guns, horns, acorns and tree branches. The colorful planter is in excellent condition, and adorns rich colors in a green, light brown and beige palette. A great addition to a lodge, ranch or hunting resort. Featured in the book “Les Barbotines” by Pierre Faveton page 74 (see pictures). Measures: 13″ W x 11″ D x 10″ H
