Crafted in France circa 1870, the oval tôle tray features cutout side handles and a beautifully hand-painted surface centered with a romantic landscape medallion depicting ancient ruins perched on a cliffside overlooking a pastoral countryside. The scenic composition is framed with delicate floral sprays and decorative border motifs rendered in soft green, cream, burnt orange, and black accents against a warm ochre yellow ground.
