Decorate a console, buffet, or bedside tables with this elegant pair of vintage Neoclassical table lamps. Crafted circa 1960, each lamp is designed in the form of a classical amphora urn, with scrolled side handles, fluted neck detail, beaded molding, acanthus leaf decoration, and a rounded pedestal base. The sculptural bodies are finished in a soft celadon green and cream painted patina, accented with gilt and brown highlights that bring out the carved relief details and give the pair a beautifully aged, antique-inspired surface.
The lamps have been fitted with brass hardware, harp frames, round brass finials, and neutral parchment-style shades. The slender scale makes them especially useful on commodes, nightstands, end tables, or a long console where a decorative pair is needed without overwhelming the setting. The lamps are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with minor surface wear and paint rubbing consistent with the intended patinated finish. Newly wired to US standard and ready for use.
