This large, antique fire back was created in France, circa 1760. The square plaque features a pre-French Revolution scene in which King Louis XVI is being arrested at Versailles with Marie Antoinette holding on to him. The fire-back is in excellent condition with wonderful detail work. Measure: 24″ W x 24″ H. SKU: 74-529
