This elegant, antique lectern was crafted in England, circa 1870. The hand-carved music sheet holder stands on a three-leg wheeled pedestal base over a circular tapered stem; it is dressed with a swivel single side book stand decorated with a pierced lyre motif throughout the slant top. The lectern with brass knob devise is adjustable and can be raised up to additional 8.5″ (from 46.5″ to 55″). The stand is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich mahogany patina.
