Jules Moigniez (1835-1894) was a French animalier sculptor who was active during the 19th century. His output was primarily cast in bronze and he frequently exhibited his sculptures at the Paris Salon. His bird and dog sculptures were among the finest ever created during his time. Listed in the Benezit; see last picture. Measures: 21″ W x 7.5″ D x 14″ H.
