Decorate an office or a bar with this exquisite wooden carved statue. Crafted in Southern France circa 1850, the large fruitwood figurative sculpture features a monk in traditional cassock and sandals holding a vegetable basket and a box in his left hand. The figure has a wonderful facial details with a smiling face and jovial expression. The sculpture is in excellent condition with a richly patinated walnut finish. Measures: 6.25″ W x 5″ D x 17.5″ H.
