19th Century Italian Carved White Marble Bust of Girl with Flute Signed Purini
Crafted in Italy circa 1890, this antique marbles sculpture stands on a separate and swivel square base, and depicts a young girl holding a transverse flute in one hand, while holding her neck with the other. The bust, signed on the back by the artist, A Purini, features a number of intricate, realistic details throughout her face, curly hair and clothing. The large, personalized bust is excellent condition, and adorns a rich patinated finish. Place this elegant bust on a pedestal or a shelf in an office or study. Measures: 15″ W x 8″ D x 21.25″ H.
