Decorate a shelf of a console with this elegant colorful majolica vase. Sculpted in Vallauris, France, circa 1890, and signed by the artist Pierre Perret, the ceramic vessel has an urn shaped body with thick rim at the top. The vase features large hand-painted chrysanthemums in rich yellow and orange colors. The floral arrangements are painted on a purple lavender background. The tall porcelain vase is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use with wonderful Provencal colors. The sculptural quality of this vase is particularly charming and would make a lovely addition to a side table, mantle or bookshelf. Signed on the underfoot “Pierre Perret Vallauris” for further authentication. Vases: 7.5″ Diameter x 15.5″H.
