Decorate a dining table or a buffet top with this elegant, antique oval planter. Crafted in France circa 1870, and decorated with marquetry and parquetry motifs, the jardiniere with intricate side handles, features a brass pierced gallery around the rim, and is decorated on the front with colorful hand painted Sevres porcelain medallion with floral motif set inside an ornate bronze frame. The Napoleon III bombe cachepot is in excellent condition, with the original inside zinc liner, and adorns a rich walnut patina throughout, and wonderful marquetry and porcelain embellishments. Measures: 13″ W x 8.5″ D x 7.5″ H.
