19th Century French Henri II Carved Oak Jelly Cabinet with Fruit Decor

Decorate an entry or office with this elegant antique jelly cabinet. Crafted in France, circa 1870, the “Confiturier” (French for jelly cabinet) stands on bun feet over a molded plinth base it features barley twist columns on both sides, a single door decorated with hand carved fruit motifs in high relief; the inside reveals a middle shelf. The small buffet has a drawer embellished with carved foliage decor under a rectangular top decorated with molded lunette edge. The Louis XIII style cabinet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. Measures: 38.5″ W x 19.25″ D x 39.5″ H
