Early 20th Century French Louis XVI Style Gilt Brass Swivel Hall Tree
$1,250
About
Bring refined Parisian elegance to an entryway, dressing room, or master bath with this antique freestanding hall tree crafted in France circa 1920. Executed in richly patinated gilt brass, the coat rack stands on a graceful tripod base ending in finely cast paw feet and embellished with neoclassical foliate and shell motifs in relief.
The slender fluted central shaft rises to a rotating upper crown fitted with four double-scroll hooks for coats and hats, along with smaller lower hooks designed for scarves, belts, or handbags. The beautifully detailed swivel top is accented with a decorative urn-form finial and delicate Louis XVI-inspired ornamentation throughout, giving the piece both functionality and sculptural presence.
Elegant from every angle, this antique hall stand retains a warm aged gilt patina that enhances the finely cast detailing and complements both traditional and eclectic interiors. Sturdy, versatile, and richly decorative, it is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
