Decorate your fireplace with this elegant antique screen. Crafted in France circa 1870 and made of bronze, the shaped screen sits on four scrolled and leaf form feet; the screen features a central medallion with traditional Louis XV motifs including asymmetrical foliage swaths, love birds, vine and grapes, and a vase with torch lit up in the center. The decorative fireplace essential is dressed with a protective mesh wire on the front, and is further embellished by a center intricate handle for easy handling. The Rococo screen is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gilt finish. Measures: 29″ W x 7″ D x 30.5″ H.
