This elegant, antique marble and bronze “Selette” was crafted in France, circa 1890. The heavy pedestal sits on a thick sturdy square plinth embellished with a bronze scrolled mount at the base and dressed with a Neo-Classical Roman Goddess figure on the thick stem. The top stem with carved spline is decorated at the neck with an ornate bronze ring with foliage decor, and the bottom is embellished with a large decorative bronze ring. The surface is dressed with a large square surface. The tall variegated Napoleon III pedestal is in excellent condition and adorns a rich finish with different shades of marble in the black and grey palette. Place this timeless, classical column in the corner of a living room to hold a bust or a vase of flowers. Measures: 11″.5W x 11.5″D x 46.5″H
