19th Century French Napoleon III Carved Marble and Bronze Selette Pedestal Table
This elegant, antique multi-color marble “Selette” was crafted in France, circa 1880. The Napoleon III pedestal sits on a thick sturdy square plinth embellished with a bronze mount at the base decorated with repousse floral motifs. The circular and tapered stem is decorated at the neck with an ornate bronze ring with foliage decor and the top is dressed with a square removable swivel surface. The tall variegated pedestal is in excellent condition with a patinated finish and different shades of marble in the red and beige palette. Place this timeless, classical column in the corner of a living room to hold a bust or a vase of flowers. Measures: 10″W x 10″D x 44.5″H.
