Beautiful antique statue from France, circa 1860; named “Le Duel”, the sculpture features a soldier in traditional outfit and holding a sword. The piece is signed by French sculptor Pierre Louis Detrier. The bronze sculpture was recently re-silvered, is in wonderful condition, and could be used in a man’s office or turned into a desk lamp! Pierre Louis Detrier (1822-1897), was born in Vougecourt, France and was a student of Gayrard. He displayed his work at the salon de Paris in 1866. Measures: 14.5″ H. SKU: 41-97
