Early 20th Century Chinese Painted Famille Verte Porcelain Ginger Jar with Lid
Decorate a console or mantle with this important antique porcelain ginger jar. Created in China, circa 1920 and attributed to Canton Famille Rose, the colorful vase is decorated with hand painted floral medallions and oriental scenes, and further embellished with Chinese figures throughout. The dome shaped lid is topped with a Foo dog figure in high relief. The large ceramic lidded ginger jar is in excellent condition and adorn rich patinated colors in the pink, green and blue palette embellished with gilt accents. Red markings on the underside for further authentication. Measures: 11″ Diameter 21″ Height.
